National Education Policy

The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, introduced by the Government of India, aims to transform the education system by focusing on holistic, inclusive, and flexible learning, emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, and innovation, and implementing a 5+3+3+4 structure.

Key Features and Objectives:
5+3+3+4 Structure:
This replaces the traditional 10+2 system, with the new structure covering:
Foundational Stage (5 years): Ages 3-8, including 3 years of Anganwadi/pre-school and Grades 1-2.
Preparatory Stage (3 years): Grades 3-5, ages 8-11.
Middle Stage (3 years): Grades 6-8, ages 11-14.
Secondary Stage (4 years): Grades 9-12, ages 14-18.
