About Department

Electrical Engineering Department is running successfully since 2006 with current intake of 120 students.
 
“Electrical Engineering” is the field where we deal with the energy that runs our world. It can exist in various forms like gas, fuel cell, turbine, hydro, solar, wind or geothermal energy. Electrical engineering has the complete knowledge to utilize and distribute these energies out from their sources to our factories, home, hospitals, school and offices, and our life.
 

Options And Opportunities

In India various job options are available to Electrical engineers. They can work in power plants, whether atomic, hydro or thermal power plants. They can also get jobs in both small and large public and private sector industries such as railways, civil aviation and all types of manufacturing plants. Employers from computer-technology corporations, manufacturing companies, IT industry, and health care equipment manufacturing industry, power generation and transmission, railways, chemical companies and telephone companies are hiring candidates with good knowledge in this field.
 
Electrical Diploma holders also get employment in Electricity Boards/Utility companies and large industries as engineers, responsible for installation, maintenance, operation of power handling equipments and systems. Industries manufacturing large electrical machines and equipments employ engineers in design, production and testing. They can also enter into self employment by starting own ventures.
 
In India, a fresher who has cleared the Diploma in Electrical Engineering can get the offer of salary starting from 2 lakh per annum upto 4 lakh per annum. In abroad, the average salary of electrical engineers is $65000 per annum.
